This article brings up an interesting point, with all of the technology advances in photography do you still have to focus on the technology side of photography any longer? Is there a time when you really need to use the manuel settings on your camera or does Program, Aperture or Shutter priority work well enough? I still use a fair amount of Manuel exposure and custom metering with my Sekonic L-508 but I could also see shooting with just the great meters that are built into today’s cameras.
