I recently picked up the book Photowidom by Lewis Blackwell, it has turned out to be one of the best photography books I’ve read to date. It’s a simple concept but something that has turned out to be invaluable, you have a page or two of question and answer text from each photographer along with a page or two of images from the photographer.
We’ve all see books where they put up page after page of images that sometimes can stand on their own and sometimes get put back on the shelf. This book has page after page of images that could stand on their own if just left at that but they’ve gone a step further here. This book has over 200 pages of images from some of the worlds greatest photographers, the book calls them masters of photography. I’d have to agree that these guys are some of the greats of recent photography and include some guys you may have heard of -
* Art Wolfe
* Chuck Close
* Loretta Lux
* Michael Light
* David LaChapelle
