Post image for Lightroom Before and After

In todays screencast I wanted to cover another simple feature of lightroom that I think gets ignored far too much and can help you quite a bit. The feature is the before and after buttons, this feature lets you see what changes you have made in comparison to what the image originally looked like or what it looked like when you last too a snap shot of the image. An incredibly powerful feature.

Workflow

  • Select your image
  • Enter the Develop module
  • Under the image click the Before and After Button
  • Adjust the view if desired.
  • If you want to you can copy the current settings to the before to get a snapshot to compare with.
  • Make changes to your image and then any time come back and compare with the snap shot.
