Interesting things are happening in photography and Sony is helping to lead that push especially on the translucent and EVIL fronts and their high mega pixel counts. For a lot of us however we have just way too much invested in the glass of another manufacturer to make a switch or even being to play with one of these new cameras. That’s why I’m always happy when a new adapter is released allowing the mounting and use of one cameras lenses to another. Today Conurus is taking that step by releasing an EF to Sony adapter allowing you to use your EF lenses on Sony’s NEX camera systems. Check it out at the Conurus site

What is it these days, does a cool looking camera perform better than the standard edition? Is there a value to a digital camera that I’m missing other than as a tool? Maybe I’m just out of touch with what the general consumer wants these days. But when I see the “Limited Edition” versions of multiple cameras coming out for considerably more money I’m just in shock people would spend more to have an obsolete camera in a year or two then they have to. Regardless let the list continue today with the announcement of the Fuji X100 Limited Edition Black Model.
