Apple recently updated their camera RAW compatibility for OS X to allow viewing and editing of your RAW images in OS X and Apple photo applications. This is great news to those of you using Aperture or iPhoto and any of the newly supported cameras.

Aperture 3 Released

Today Apple Inc released Aperture 3 with some new features both fun and powerful. Now to be fair I’ve stopped using Aperture some time ago in favor of Adobe Lightroom. But there does look like there are some great new features released in this version. Location aware brushes, face detection and tagging and GPS support.

Lightroom vs. Aperture
